Dosbarth Grug GymnasticsAs part of the P.E. Curriculum, Dosbarth Grug will be attending gymnastics lessons at Olympus Gym in Llay for 6 weeks, commencing Monday 10th November The children will be transported to and from the Olympus Gym in Llay by bus. Sessions will be held on Monday, 10th,17th and 24th November & 1st, 8th and 15th December. In order to offer the children this fantastic opportunity we kindly ask for a payment of £30.00(£5.00 per week)to be paid on ParentPay to help pay for the coaching sessions and meet the transport costs.

Swimming Lessons Dosbarth BrialluThe children will be transported to and from Gwyn Evans Leisure Centre in Gwersyllt by bus and will need to come to school wearing their school P.E. kit over their swimming costumes. (one piece swimming costume for girls and swimming trunks/shorts for boys). Children with long hair will need to tie their hair back or they should wear a swimming hat, and earrings and jewellery should be removed. The children will be allowed to wear swimming goggles should they choose to, but their swimming coach may ask for them to be removed during parts of the lesson.

Christmas Concert - Nursery & Reception10:00 - 11:00Dear Parents/Carers Rehearsals are in full swing for this year’s Christmas productions. The children in Nursery and Reception are going to be performing ‘I Spy Christmas’ on Tuesday the 9th December and Thursday 11th December at 10:00am We have two performances, and we hope for a ‘full house’ for each one. Our concerts will be held in the school hall and due to the limited space and Fire Regulations we must limit the number of tickets to TWO TICKETS PER CHILD, PER PERFORMANCE to ensure that all parents have the chance to see a performance. Tickets can be purchased via ParentPay (£2.00 per ticket) from today until Tuesday 2nd December. If the full allocation is not taken up through this process, parents will have the opportunity to purchase any unsold tickets from the school office from Thursday 6th December. This will be on a first come first served basis. Doors will be open 30 minutes before the start of each performance. We look forward to welcoming you to our Christmas performances.

Magic Party Show - Reception, Years 1, 2 & 3As part of our Christmas celebrations, we are delighted to inform you that during the afternoon on Tuesday 16th December, the following classes will be treated to an exciting Magic Party Show with magician Andy Green: • Dosbarth Tiwlip (Reception) • Dosbarth Rhosyn (Year 1) • Dosbarth Blodyn Haul (Year 2) • Dosbarth Blodyn Menyn (Year 3) We are sure this will be a wonderful and memorable experience for the children as we celebrate the festive season together.
