Swimming for Dosbarth Gwyddfid More events...

Swimming for Dosbarth GwyddfidAs part of the P.E. Curriculum, Dosbarth Gwyddfid will be swimming for 6 weeks beginning Thursday 27th March 2025. The children will be transported to and from Gwyn Evans Leisure Centre in Gwersyllt by bus. Swimming sessions will be held on Thursday, 27th March, 3rd,10th April and 1st, 8th, 15th May. We will leave school at 10.00am and will return by 11.30 am. The swimming lessons and use of the pool are free of charge, but we kindly ask for a contribution of £21.00 (£3.50 per week) to help meet the transport costs.

Wear Something Purple for The Unbeatable Eva CharityOn Friday 2nd May , we will be raising money for the Unbeatable Eva Charity in memory of Eva, with a non uniform day. The Unbeatable Eva Foundation helps fund medical research into DIPG and helps to put smiles on faces in the most difficult of times. Eva's favourite colour was purple, and we would like to invite children to come to school wearing something purple. We ask kindly for a donation of £1.00 towards our fundraising.

Curriculum, Dosbarth Briallu will be attending gymnastics lessons at Olympus Gymnastics in Llay for 5 weeks, commencing Monday, 7th April, followed by the 12th, 19th of May and then the 2nd and 9th June. The children will be transported to and from the Olympus Gymnasium in Llay by bus.

Swimming for Dosbarth Llygad Y DyddThe children will be transported to and from Gwyn Evans, Wrexham by bus and will need to come to school wearing their school P.E. kit over their swimming costumes. Children with long hair will need to have their hair tied back or they should wear a swimming hat, and earrings and jewellery should be removed. The children will be allowed to wear swimming goggles should they choose to.
