Pop-up Author Visit

A huge thankyou to Karen George, the author of ‘Hugh Shampoo’, for visiting Year 2 on Wednesday 25th November. The children enjoyed listening to the story and learning about all the gruesome things that got stuck on Hugh’s hair as he hated having his hair washed! The children then designed lots of items from the story and created a large collage of Hugh and his messy hair do. Please take a look at our gallery of pictures from the visit.

The best thing about having the author in was …

‘Making a giant picture of Hugh’ – Owen

‘It was interesting to find out it was almost a true story’ – James

‘We designed stuff for Hugh’s hair’ – Freya

Take a look at the gallery of photographs from the owl visit in Year 1 and 2!
