We met with Mr Ward (Coleg Cambria) to talk about how he could help us to improve our outdoor areas. Mr Ward and the Coleg Cambria team have already created lots of things for the outdoor areas and he agreed to continue helping us by making the following things:

  • Three Bug Hotels

  • Three Mud Kitchens

  • One logged seating area

  • One large stage area

  • Welsh signs for Upper Foundation Phase Outdoor learning area

A great big THANK YOU from the School Council…Thank you to our wonderful parents and community for supporting the school’s ‘Tesco Bags of Help’ project. Every one of your counters deposited in the Wrexham Tesco store voting boxes has meant that we have been awarded £2000 from the ‘Local Community Grant Scheme’ and we can now make our Outdoor plans become a reality.

As Chair of the School Council I would like to share with you how delighted the School Councillors are to hear this wonderful news as we have lots of exciting plans that we have generated from discussions in class meetings and pupil questionnaires for developing our Forest School and Foundation Phase outdoor learning environments.
