District Sports 2016

Well done to all the athletes who took part in the events at District Sports, Queens Way on Wednesday 22nd June. Our team did extremely well, coming second place!! A special well done to Ruby Boden who came runner up of the high jump out of 20 competitors!

Wrexham Tennis Finals

A huge well done to all the finalists who took part in the Wrexham Tennis Finals on Wednesday 8th June. All teams played extremely well. There were some tough and some close matches. Take a look at our tennis teams from year 3 up to year 6.

Netball National Primary Schools Championship

We are so proud of our netball team for competing in the Netball Finals in Cardiff. They had a non-stop day, playing 7 matches in total. They were all exhausted by the end, but still smiling after a fantastic day! The standard of Netball played at the tournament was extremely high, our team played proudly and fought until the end. A huge thank you to Sue Sanders for coming with us on the day, supporting and coaching the team along the way.

Success for our Tennis Teams

Congratulations to the year 3 and 4 tennis teams, who played with great passion and skill on Wednesday 18th May. All the teams got through to the Wrexham finals, well done! We look forward to hearing how you get on in the finals. Good luck!

Cricket Finals

Well done to the cricket team, who on Friday 13th of May, got through to the Wrexham finals. They won 3 out of 4 matches! Fantastic results team, good luck for the finals!

North East Regional Primary Netball Competition

Congratulations to our Netball team, who came second in North East Regional Competition, on Thursday 28th April; securing their place in the final competition in Cardiff. The team played with skill and determination and supported each other throughout the tournament. Well done team!!

Rhosnesni Cluster Schools Tournament

Well done to the football team, who won all of their matches today at the football tournament at Rhosnesni High School- winning the tournament over all! The netball team also did very well, winning three and losing one game. Everyone had lots of fun competing against the cluster schools. Thank you to the parents who came to support us!

Indoor Athletics 2016

Well done to all those children in year 5 and 6 who took part in the Indoor Athletics Festival 2016 at Splash Magic, Plas Madoc. The children did our school proud, showing impeccable behaviour, good sportsmanship and giving 100% effort in each sporting event. The day was very successful and the children had an exciting day competing against other schools in the Wrexham area. Take a look at the gallery of photographs below.
