Seesaw? What is flipped learning? Why do it?
As a school, we’re always on the lookout for new ways of engaging our pupils with their learning: anything they can do that will help improve their learning is of interest to us! This is exactly what flipped learning is all about – it is a way of preparing pupils for some of the new skills and ideas they’ll be encountering in their work in school. Wouldn’t it be better if pupils knew some of what was going to be taught before they come to school? We will be using Seesaw over the coming months to share learning content (pictures, weblinks, videos etc.) that pupils will need to view before they come to school. This content will be delivered through the free to use Seesaw app (available on the apple app store and at http://web.seesaw.me )
It is also a brilliant opportunity for you to engage with your child about their learning – please discuss the flipped learning resources we share via seesaw – let us know how it’s going!
